I needed something for my bathroom to put all my shaving stuff on and some other odds and ends. I don't have a ton of counter space, so any storage things I could find that might be suitable either crowded the sink, obscured the mirror, collided with the only outlet in the bathroom (conveniently placed in the most useless and inconvenient place on the wall), or stuck way out into the counter space. Then I stumbled on this and had an epiphany. It was just about exactly as wide as I wanted it to be, and would fit nicely into the corner space on my counter. Took a chance.I love it. It is nicely made and very attractive. It works perfectly for my purposes and the fact that it spins is super handy. Much better, imho, than a static shelf or plastic bins, etc. Makes things very accessible.The only potential downside for me is that I am using it in a bathroom and it really is not intended for high humidity environments. So time will tell how much of a factor that will be. At less than $15, if I have to replace it from time to time, that's just fine with me. I will probably pick up another one for my kitchen. A month later I was in WalMart and saw a similar product and yes, it was a little less expensive but holy moly at the quality difference!! It was inferior in every way to this turntable!Pros- Beautiful, smooth wood! We use it for medicine, but it would be great for makeup, spices, condiments, etc.- Lip edge on bottom and top table to protect contents from falling off.- Assembles easily.- Turns smoothly.- Holds all of our medicine bottles and vials which saves us valuable cabinet space.Cons- No matter how big of a lip or edge, if you spin it too fast, stuff is gonna sling off!
