I was a little reluctant to purchase these and wasn't expecting much. What you see in the pictures is a gigantic cat. He is my BIG BOY! And... he's not graceful! This spot is his favorite! He leaps up from the arm of the sofa and lands beautifully in the dish. He is super comfortable in it. I was worried it would be too small, but because of the way it's designed, it supports all of his cat bits nicely! I would say that this was the gorilla test. Passed with flying colors! The generous size suction cups stick VERY well. I cleaned the window and suctions beforehand and wiped them down with alcohol wipes. The suction cups show no sign of un-sticking, even after my cats leap from the floor or table onto the perch. Since the weather is still cold and this is a north facing window, I put a small blanket on it. Otherwise, the material is perfectly soft and cozy on its own. My cats take turns napping, looking at the birds, squirrels, and park activities out the window now.
