Zone 5: Early to Mid September Zone 6: Mid September Zone 7: Mid to Late September Zone 8, 9, 10: Late September to Early October Spring Zone 3, 4: Early to Mid May Zone 5: Late April to Early May Zone 6: Mid to Late April Zone 7: Early to Mid April Zone 8: Late March to Early April Zone 9, 10: Late March Review: About What I Expected - Purchased this plant in November and kept it inside until March. The plant was very healthy when it arrived. I transplanted the plant outside on about St Patrick’s Day and the temperature dropped below freezing a couple of times and the plant appeared to be damaged - but it rallied and it is currently (May) thriving. I’m debating how much protection to give it this winter. I’m located in Maryland (zone 7). All things considered, this is about as good as I could have reasonably hoped for. I’m hoping that the plant gets a little more temperature resilient as it becomes more established. Review: Temperamental plant - Great deal ## Features - Exercise caution and use your best judgment before ordering during unusually hot or cold weather (below 32 degrees F, or in excess of 95F for shipping purposes), as these extremes may leave your plant vulnerable to damage. The optimal time for planting for most of our material is in mid to late spring, past the danger of hard frost. Please refer to our preferred shipping and planting guide for your area below. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BYXK53XW | | Best Sellers Rank | #612,349 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #2,709 in Tree Plants & Seeds | | Brand | Daylily Nursery | | Brand Name | Daylily Nursery | | Color | Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 60 Reviews | | Expected Blooming Period | Spring | | Expected Planting Period | Spring | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00840369400093 | | Item Type Name | Plant | | Manufacturer | Daylily Nursery | | Material Feature | Natural | | Material Features | Natural | | Moisture Needs | Moderate Watering | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Plant or Animal Product Type | Flower | | Sunlight Exposure | Partial Shade | | USDA Hardiness Zone | 7 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Daylily Nursery - **Material Feature:** Natural - **Color:** Green - **Expected Blooming Period:** Spring - **Sunlight Exposure:** Partial Shade - **Unit Count:** 1.0 Count - **Expected Planting Period:** Spring - **USDA Hardiness Zone:** 7 - **Moisture Needs:** Moderate Watering - **Number of Pieces:** 1 ## Images ![Windmill Palm Plant in a 4" -Trachycarpus fortunei-Cold Hardy to Zone 7!! - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51jjKLAJELL.jpg) ![Windmill Palm Plant in a 4" -Trachycarpus fortunei-Cold Hardy to Zone 7!! - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Okt7u3NJL.jpg) ![Windmill Palm Plant in a 4" -Trachycarpus fortunei-Cold Hardy to Zone 7!! - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61XB1gmFAYL.jpg) ![Windmill Palm Plant in a 4" -Trachycarpus fortunei-Cold Hardy to Zone 7!! - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Hlf603LZL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ About What I Expected *by R***J on May 22, 2025* Purchased this plant in November and kept it inside until March.
