To sterilise them you need to put them in hot water for 5 mins and then let them air dry. There can be some water trapped in the dummy but as you squeeze it it comes out easily. The instructions tells you as well that they don’t advise you to use one dummy longer than 4-7 weeks. Probably because of the thin rubber to avoid breaking off in baby’s mouth (chocking hazard) and the water what can get inside the dummy to avoid fungus. Takes a little while for baby girl to get used to the smaller size (a couple days, no more), but if you just keep on trying, your little one will take to it too! Best of luck. **Q: water in nipple** A: Squeeze it. There are little skits that allow water in and out. Not a big deal. **Q: when i boiled the pacifiers to sterilize them, I noticed that it collected water in the nipple. Is that normal, or does that mean it's defective?** A: I had a similar type of pacifier that I boiled to sterilize previously that also collected water.
