**Q: I typically use aquatone pencils. I leave them in the box and use them like a palette with a wet brush. Could I use these the same way?**
A: You sure can!

**Q: Can you use these for bible journaling?**
A: I beg to differ on this subject from the other answers...I have been journaling in bibles for a couple of years now. Yes, CdA NII have wax in them. Yes they will smear/smudge but only BEFORE water is applied. Once the water dries the color becomes stable. The trick to  journaling on thin onionskin like (read bible paper) is to use very very little water. And as far as getting a thin line, well apply the "crayon" directly onto a DAMP bristle end of a small flat brush. HTH

They are absolutely scrummy. I love the elephant shame but preferred them in their elephant attire(wrapping paper)I have been enjoying them as a treat for60 years. Thanks. They are excellent to give as a unit when wrapped as above for a small treat.

LOVE THESE! Vibrant colours and very workable. Use as a crayon to fill areas then apply water to spread the pigment. Colours blend together nicely to create lovely textured effects.

I saw someone on YouTube using these water soluble crayons and I just had to have them. They are absolutely brilliant, but you have to pay for the Swiss quality as they don't come cheap. This is a good starter set, but soon you'll find you really need more colours, especially if you need skin tone for portraits. I'm thinking of buying the bigger set if I could just get myself to shell out £30. They're worth the money though as they last a long time. The colours are brilliant and easy to blend. They are truly water soluble. Just use as regular crayons, then go over it with a wet brush and watch the magic unfold as it turn into watercolour paint. The colours are nice and strong. I really love these! I wish I had the money to buy the biggest set, but I can't justify it as I'm not an artist, though now I wish I was!
