Review: Missing some book ingredients - The story was good but could have been so much better. The issue of incest was brushed aside and should have been a major factor in them getting together. The reason i say that, isn’t because i’m against step sibling relationships. I, personally, have no problem with it, but it provides a wonderful taboo element, which I would have liked. Having said that, I DID take issue with the age difference. Even though it is only 5 years. the fact that she is only 17 makes it a much bigger deal. I would have preferred she was of legal age or that they were the same age. I felt there was too much dialogue and not enough scene building. There were a few glaring grammatical errors - saying “Noah” when it should have been “Nick” - at least in the ebook. And lastly, the prologue eludes to a future falling out, but it never comes to pass. The book ended with a HEA. Why even have a prologue if it isn’t a part of the book? So strange. The only reason I will be reading book 2 is because I know the plot.
