I've put my garden furniture cushions in them and they seem fine. The zip doesn't feel very durable and isn't likely to be very strong so suggest you don't overload them. If you want huge bags just to keep stuff clean or to store things in I think thery are great value for money. They aren't super-thick but given the price I'm really happy with them. The handles on mine feel quite strong and seem a bit thicker than the online images.
