Not being a regular walker this probably was to be expected. I did the full 25 miles of the Yorkshire three peaks yesterday using these and no blisters ! Minor quibble was not a little difficulty in getting them in the right place on the first pair of shoes I used them on and that they do seem a little pricey for what they are. But at the end of the day paying a tenner for blister free heels for three months, is cheaper that all the plasters and creams I was paying for before hand.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How hard is it to apply them with wrinkles in a tight fitting figure skate?**
A: I applied these to the back of a pair of sneakers that had a chunk of the heal missing.  I just laid it over the areas/material and pressed down.  Very durable!

**Q: Will these adhere to the neoprene sock of a walking cast.**
A: Thank you for your question! Our Patches will stick to the fabric side of the neoprene, unless it is treated with something. If you wanted to try our ENGO Patches I would recommend our Rectangle Patches. They have a bigger surface area with rounded edges to help with peeling. You can also cut and customise them down to your perfect size. Our Heel Patches are more designed for placement in athletic shoes. If the Patches have a hard time sticking for some reason, you can always use "Shoe Goo" or contact cement, Barge or Master, for a secondary adhesive. **Q: How strong is the adhesive on these? Considering applying them to the inside heels of leather Allen Edmonds dress shoes but want to remove later.**
A: It’s strong enough. I use them on my running shoes and they come off without leaving residue. Not sure the fabric behind your dress shoes but should do the job. Only downside if a corner starts to peel off, it might start to get stuck to your foot or sock.

**Q: Where do these mount on the shoe?  I get heel blisters caused by the top edge of the shoe, but the pictures show these mounted just under that edge.**
A: I mounted mine well into the heel cup. I don’t know that you would be able to secure them high enough to provide the protection you are looking for.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blister Prevention Patches - work!

Blister Prevention Patches I bought these after suffering with recurring heel blisters. I read lots around the subject on a blister prevention website which offered great advice and a variety of options to try including these. I decided they were worth a go. Wow! What a difference - firstly, you need to understand what this product is. The patch does not provide any cushioning and is a very thin, smooth patch fitted directly to the inner heel area on the shoe which effectively reduces the friction which causes the skin to blister. (Counter intuitive to me initially as I felt the firmer the shoe gripped my foot the better!) By allowing a small amount of movement between the shoe and sock the friction is dramatically lessened. I generally walk approx 4.5 miles each morning and today I was able to do so for the first time in ages without any discomfort. This appears to be the answer I was looking for. Do your research and I hope it helps you too.
