Each blanket measures 40 by 40 inches and is made from fiberglass, which gives me confidence that it can handle small grease or electrical fires effectively. The blankets are easy to access and come neatly folded in compact pouches, so I can store them in drawers or cabinets without taking up much space. I also like the clear labeling and simple instructions, which make it easy to use in an emergency without hesitation. I’ve done a few practice drills with my family, and the blankets are surprisingly easy to deploy. They feel durable and well-made, and I can tell they would smother flames quickly if needed. The only minor thing I noticed is that folding them back into the pouch takes a little patience, but that is a small trade-off for having reliable fire safety equipment. Overall, this kanhiro 4 Pack of Emergency Fire Blankets is a smart addition to any kitchen. They are compact, effective, and give me peace of mind knowing I’m prepared for small fires. Review: Worth it to have in case! - Late to the game leaving a review, but these are very nice to have in COE! Have one under my kitchen sink and one in my laundry room closet. Have not had to use them yet, but love the convenience of just pulling from the bag and having a blanket to throw over. Hope to NOT have to use this, but glad I purchased regardless. Size is big enough, and product seems like it will be durable and “put out a fire”, if needed. ## Features - 100% Glass Fibers - 🔥 EFFICIENT FIRE BLANKETS: Extinguish small fires quickly and easily with no mess (unlike common fire extinguishers). Simply deploy the blanket by pulling down the tabs. The fire blanket never expires, which means—unlike traditional fire extinguishers—it doesn’t need to be replaced. - 🔥 MADE OF FIBERGLASS: Can be used as a heat shield and isolates high temperatures up to 1022°F (550°C); it will not melt or catch fire. The fire blanket is an excellent supplement to your home fire extinguisher and meets CE safety standards (EN 1869:2019). - 🔥 KEEP YOUR FAMILY SAFE: Safeguard your home and kitchen with emergency fire blankets. Designed as an emergency-prepared home safety device for peace of mind. Package: 4 packs, each blanket sized at 39.3 × 39.3 inches. PLS READ!! *by D***T on October 26, 2025* I FINALLY GOT A CHANCE TO TEST THESE BLANKETS OUT. WE HAD A FIRE OUTSIDE OVER THE WEEKEND AND WE MADE A FIRE IN THE FIRE PIT. ONCE WE STARTED THE FIRE, I PUT IT OUT WITH THIS BLANKET. IT SMOTHERED THE FIRE AND PUT IT OUT! IT TRULY WORKS AND I CAN SAY 1000% THAT EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST ONE OF THESE IN YOUR HOUSE!!! I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT I WAS SKEPTICAL THAT IT WOULD WORK, AND YOU CAN NOT TEST THE EFFECTIVENESS UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A FIRE…. BUT IT WOULD BE TOO LATE IF YOU HAD A KITCHEN FIRE OR ANY FIRE. I TESTED IT OUT FOR MYSELF AND IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM!!! THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE SIMPLE, IT ACTUALLY WORKS AND I AM GRATEFUL FOR THAT PEACE OF MIND…IF YOU ARE ON THE FENCE ABOUT BUYING IT, DEFINITELY BUY IT BECAUSE I PUT OUT THE FIRE MYSELF TO PROVE IT WORKS. IF THAT FIRE WAS INDOORS, I NOW KNOW THAT THIS BLANKET OFFERS ME PROTECTION. THERE ARE TABS THAT YOU PULL ON TO DEPLOY THE BLANKET SO ITS DESIGN IS FOR SAVING SPACE WHEN NOT IN USE. IT IS SQUARE, THE DIMENSIONS ARE 40”x40”, WHICH IS 3.3 FEET, IT FOLDS UP NICELY AND CAN BE HUNG IN YOUR KITCHEN OUT OF YOUR WAY. I REALLY LIKE THAT IT DOES NOT TAKE UP ANY KITCHEN SPACE. ALSO, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY WHICH SIDE IS CORRECT BECAUSE IT IS DOUBLE SIDED, AND ACCORDING TO THE DESCRIPTION, IT CAN WITHSTAND OVER 1000 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. I DO ALSO OWN A FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND A SPRAY THAT PUTS OUT FIRES. I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR A HOME FIRE BECAUSE AS I HAVE SEEN FIRST HAND, IT GETS OUT OF CONTROL REALLY FAST. I KEEP ONE UPSTAIRS AND ONE DOWN. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AND I WOULD RATHER HAVE IT AND NOT NEED IT, THAN TO NEED ONE AND NOT HAVE IT. I RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY AND GIVE IT AN A+++ ## Frequently Bought Together - kanhiro Fire Blanket, Emergency Fire Suppression Blanket for Home and Kitchen, Fiberglass Fire Blanket Great for School, Fireplace, Grill, Car, Office, Warehouse (4 Pack, 39 in X 39 in) - Crest Medical 10 Person HSE Workplace First Aid Kit - HSE Health And Safety Law Poster A3 FWC30/A3: what you need to know (Statutory Instruments 2024) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/522413119-kanhiro-emergency-fire-blanket-for-home-kitchen-fiberglass-fire-suppression](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/522413119-kanhiro-emergency-fire-blanket-for-home-kitchen-fiberglass-fire-suppression) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
