Is there a picture of how the rope should be run to do this?** A: I suggest you pick up a copy of Jeff Jepson's "The Tree Climber's Companion". It's covered in that book along with a lot of other useful climbing information. You can also do a search on YouTube to see its use in action. **Q: I just received the Rescue 8. The finish is "crackled" not smooth like the picture. Won't this cause extra wear on the rope or serious damage?** A: Stop!!!! Your life is hanging off this unit !
