Review: they fit 1" inch posts - I ordered a set of four for one of our wire shelving units in the garage.. the smallest one without casters! They went in fast. Unbolted the old leveling feet and bolted these in. The base of the post has a threaded female hole so it goes in and out. Now my floor is mostly level ( 2' drop over 20 feet ) so I didn't need to level the casters. If you want to level them and tighten the "bolt" you'll need to add a washer. But that's how they all are so that seems to be a common design for these kinds of things.

**Q: will these fit the home depot shelving?**
A: I don’t know, I bought it to fit shelving I bought from Costco. Measure the diameter hole in the bottom of the leg to ensure the wheels can screw into it.

**Q: Do these wheels work with Intermetro shelves?**
A: If the upright poles are the standard 1" diameter, then they should work.

**Q: My poles are hollow, so these castors will not work, right?**
A: I think all poles like this are hollow - less weight and less material used. We have the standard wire shelving pictured in the ad, and the poles are hollow. We love these castors. They fit right inside and the weight of the unit keeps them in place. I wished I added wheels years ago. We use them in the garage and have at least a hundred pounds on each unit - very easy to move.

**Q: Will these fit amazon basic 5 shelf wire shelfs?**
A: I don't believe so these were smaller.

These wheels fit my unit perfectly - just screwed them in - and allows for easy movement of the shelves in a tight space. Having wheels allows the whole shelf to be used in a tight corner - all I need to do is pull it out when I need something in the back and then push it back out of the way again ... These wheels were perfect for what I needed.
