Review: MULTIPLE USES - GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO GETTING MORE SUNLIGHT - I PURCHASED THIS LIGHT THERAPY LED UV-FREE SUNLIGHT LAMP BECAUSE WE ALL NEED A LITTLE MORE SUNSHINE. IF IT RAINS OR YOU JUST ARE NOT ABLE TO GET OUTSIDE - THIS WORKS. IT ALSO WORKS AS A FLOOR LIGHT FOR READING. ITS SIMPLE WHITE DESIGN BLENDS IN NICELY WITH ANY DECOR. IT TAKES UP LITTLE SPACE. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF LIGHT SETTINGS DEPENDING ON THE DESIRED LIGHT. YOU MIGHT LIKE WHITE OR THE YELLOW SETTING. RECOMMENDED
Review: Very Nice Bright Light - I returned the first one not understanding the extra plastic part you need to remove and throw away to assemble. I finally found the instructions and it was easy to assemble and figure out how to get the light the way you want. You barely touch the pole to get it to react. Very EASY to turn on and off. I had a dark corner behind me nothing seems to cover. Now I can read books, draw and do other things with plenty of light! I have two other Ott lights, much older than this and they do not give off as much light. This is all a good height for the chair I sit in and have it to the side and behind my chair. Very happy with this light and how it is designed to help your eyes unlike standard lighting, which is often detrimental. Decades ago tests were done in several schools where half the lights were left being fluorescent and half replaced with the non flickering, full spectrum Ott lights. The children in those rooms were sick much less often and their learning skills improved. However, the schools naturally did not want to have to buy the more expensive lights. Mr. Ott discovered this on an assignment for Disney if I remember correctly. He had to do some slow motion photography of flowers growing and the standard lights were killing some of the flowers. He finally came up with his Ott light that helped them grow naturally, so he could photograph them in his studio growing. .... and in the end, they were more beneficial for humans too. Although that was not his intention in creating them at first. I find my eyes tire much less than when I read under standard lights! I recommend them to friends who use them for crafts, reading, cooking and things requiring adequate, healthy light.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: If 10,000 LUX is the right intensity of light for treatment, then why are there different brightnesses such as 11,000？**
A: Everyone's senses are different and for some people 10,000 Lux is too bright, so the light therapy lamp offers other levels of brightness. For those who need 10,000 Lux, the distance to the light source is too far to reach this brightness, so we offer 11,000 Lux.

**Q: Can I use this light therapy lamp as a normal floor lamp?**
A: This is an ideal normal floor lamp and has extra value as the lighting intensity is easily changed.

**Q: How does light therapy work?**
A: Light therapy is based on the assumption of "less sunlight" and attempts to solve the problem through artificial sunlight (or at least through artificial sunlight). (Something that mimics sunlight). In theory, you can "reset" the biological clock in winter by compensating for the lost sunlight, which prevents seasonal internal changes.

**Q: Need help, remote doesnt work. How can I get another remote? Can it be programmed with an app?**
A: I also thought that the remote didn't work. I called Amazon, but they made me speak to some sort of AI-powered machine which could not answer my question and essentially forced me to return the unit. However, when the second unit arrived, I found that its remote control didn't work either, which made me go back and read the directions more carefully: "Within 20 seconds after table lamp is plug on (sic), long press the power button on remote control to pair, when table lamp flashes 3 times means match successfully (sic)." When I followed those directions, the remote control worked perfectly.
