It's a hydrating formula so is a little sticky but I apply baby powder with a big brush and it's more comfortable. I just apply 1/2 layers before bed and wash off the next day. It comes out a lovley colour not orange like some brands and even if it looks very slightly patchy on application on my legs it always washes off nicely. I find it appears a little pale at wash off and then by midday is a lovely color.
