Review: Great , affordable gold rub for lots of surfaces - I adore these gold polishes and have used them on all sorts of projects . I often combine a couple of golds together to soften the look but they go on pretty much any surface and I have used the paste on frames , furniture and even a couple of handles. Make sure you apply in layers and wear gloves or else you will genuinely have gold fingers . A little goes a long way .

A: Rub N Buff is a wax based product, not a paint. It will go on some plastics. Better on non shiny surfaces.

A: The safety guidelines:  Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces.

**Q: Can I use it on plastic, wanting to try it on a light switch**
A: Yes it sticks well to most surfaces.. It has a much better appearance if rubbed over a dark colour so consider painting your light switch black or dark blue etc and allowing to dry before applying rub n buff
