A: If I recall, I purchased 6...for adding a few to my hospital bag more for the purpose as an ice pack though they are a bit bulky but as an ice pack great for the area... (I used adult pampers directly afterbirth, secure and accident free ;). Hope this helps..

A: This one comes with 6 pads but you can buy bigger boxes

**Q: will these soak up as much blood as maternity pads?**
