Review: Brilliant Smelter - This pot is way beyond my expectations after reading some of the comments saying they were second hand. I received a brand new smelter in an unopened box and the only thing I had to do was fit a 13amp plug which took 5 mins. I have used it numerous times now and it works perfectly, no leaks at the nozzle, pours well and thermostat is clicking away controlling the temperature. I only use cleaned lead in the pot and leave about 25mm in the bottom of the pot to keep any debris away from the nozzle. I use an old thick aluminium pot to smelt and clean my lead but might buy another of these for that job. Highly recommended Review: It melts lead. - Does exactly what it says in the tin. I need to return this for the 110 voltage model. How do i do this?** A: I was asked for help with that problem of returning staff with wrong voltage but unfortunately I can not help on that.
