Commanders are normally kept separate from the deck by being placed in a different colored sleeve. I however have a few Commanders of higher value and decided this would be a good solution to store them separately. VaultX makes good product and these cases fit my needs well. The only complaint I have about them is that the outer surface is easy to scratch. I have no qualms about the durability otherwise. I open them every now and then to change out a Commander and the cards inside (which are also in a perfect fit sleeve within) have not shifted or moved inside and look as new as the day I placed them in there.
