After having tried various children coats I had just about given up. I was so happy when this arrived. The coat fits great, is excellent quality and looks amazing too. The harness hole is an added bonus too! Plus, there’s actual pockets to store things in- how cute! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Lots of pros but one major disadvantage *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 October 2020* We've been using this coat for a few months now and have some important pros and cons to share:*** Pros ***+ This coat is beautiful and looks posh+ Our dog is able to walk comfortably while wearing it+ The hoodie helps keeping his head relatively dry although he doesn't really like it.+ This coat is thin so it's great for dogs with long hair. We originally bought it for rainy summer days when temperatures are hot.+ The lining is not made of fleece so there's no static that irritates the dog.*** Cons ***- In the past few days with storm Alex bringing heavier rain (2-4mm) to our area, we notice that rain goes through the outer layer and makes the lining damp, though the hair stays dry. Our dog doesn't like walking in the rain so our walks last 15 minutes at most but we still get this disappointing result. This is why we gave this coat only three stars.Two tips to finish with:1. As other people have suggested before - buy one size larger. The table advised medium but we bought large and it was perfect for our 10yo mixed Tibetan (12-13kg).2. Unfortunately the medium size is a bit too small for my 11 Kg cockapoo, so it won't fasten at the neck (which would leave a patch of chest to get wet when a smallish dog is splashing along on a wet day). Also I found it fiddly trying to fasten the zip underneath her without trapping fur in the zip, and of course it doesn''t cover the back legs at all. I think my dog may be between sizes, so sadly I shall need to return the coat.
