Both bathrooms have white ceramic tile. there were no marks, no residue, and, even though it clings really well, it was easy to remove and reinstall. **Q: Will long tern use of different soaps harm the surface of this product? What is the largest bar of soap this product will hold?** A: No, since the tray is made of SS304 Stainless Steel, known for its resistance against time and rust, you can use as many soap bars, of any kind, with this product.
