I first used the soap a few years ago while on a trip in the Texas Hill Country at a bed & breakfast local to the area the soap is made. I fell in love then & bought several while I was there! Luckily there was a store within 5 miles from my home where I could purchase when I ran out. Unfortunately the store stopped carrying it & I couldn’t bring myself to pay the steep shipping costs directly from the website...I never thought to check amazon. While purchasing a variety of items for my upcoming baby, I stumbled upon it & was so excited!! While it is a little pricey, I love the natural lavender smell & thick silky texture. I know I’ll be washing hands a lot when baby gets here, so I love that this smell is relaxing, natural antibacterial property of the lavender oil & that the soap doesn’t dry out my hands. This is also a perfect soap for a guest bathroom because of the smell.
