My hair is straight, thin, and very smooth. For the clip to stay, a hair tie can be used or support it with bobby pins - time consuming and requires a lot more work. I wish the alligator clip has more teeth and clips on tight on hair. The mini clips also need quite a bit of practice to hold to open. Hard to DIY.
