Large pad of quality paper for artists
We ordered this for our daughter who is a budding artist (8 years old) and carries a small sketch pad with her everywhere to draw drafts of pictures that she then wants to put to canvass or A4 paper (usually grabbed from our office printer tray). This is a handy large pad of superb quality A3 paper which she absolutely loves. She's used it mainly for pencil crayons but also for watercolours and it's held up well to the latter which shows it's good quality. The spiral binding makes it easy to (carefully) peel off separate sheets as needed. Really impressive pad which would make a lovely gift for an art loving friend ot relative.

Amazing Quality
I hadn’t heard of this brand before but they prove to make sketch pads of excellent quality. Really happy with this paper, its perfect for sketching in pencil, charcoal and even light ink work. I haven’t tried anything else but probably wouldn’t recommend anything heavier, water based as stated in the description, you might be able to get away with watercolour pencils.Spiral bound so great for keeping everything together, a little harder to remove pages if needed.Great quality paper and a good amount for the price at £18.50, would recommend.

It's a joy to draw on
This paper is ivory coloured, so not bright white, more like a muted off white. I do prefer how my pencil drawings look on this paper as oppose to bright white paper. This paper is very pleasant to draw on and blending works well. This paper is 90gsm which is referring to the thickness, the average printer type paper is about 80gsm and watercolour paper should always be 300gsm to handle water well without warping. So i wouldn't call this paper thick or heavy duty personally. It's pretty standard paper but one that's been made for drawing on and performs well for doing such and despite not being thick does handle vigorous / heavy pencil drawings well.My biggest complaint is the micro perforation that's meant to make detaching the paper from the straggly ring binder edges easy. However it is not easy and if not super careful can rip into the drawing area. I have given up doing it by hand and instead cut along the perforated line as guidance with scissors, a paper cutter would also work well. You get 120 sheets, this makes for thick pad of paper. I think for the price of under £20 the price is okay for A3 good quality paper. It's a joy to draw on and has a nice off white tone finely textured surface which works very well with my pencils.

Multiple imperfections on the pages.
This A3 sketch pad is for dry work only, the paper feels quite thin for an art pad but if you’re just sketching it is thick enough for that. It’s is a bumper size housing 120 sheets which are perforated to easily tear out. What has disappointed me is finding many imperfections in the paper. If I am drawing more so than painting I want my paper to be perfect and this isn’t, I found multiple spots of what looks like ink in it and when I went through the whole pad they seemed to be about every 6 pages!! I’ve photographed quite a few to show you but you get the idea. In use the paper has a nice texture not completely smooth with just the right amount of texture, I found most mark making easy including shading and blending. I wouldn’t purchase again because of the marks which is a shame as without them I would have said it was good value.
