As I don’t always get chance to go to the gym, I ordered this as an alternative and it’s actually ingenious how it does double up for a lot of the workout equipment you would find in a gym. I looked up a few workout videos online based around this and followed along with them and I’m very impressed. I don’t think I can see a difference particularly (I’ve only been using it a week though!!) but I do come to the end of my workouts with it feeling like I’ve worked hard and that is sometimes reward enough.On the down sides, it took a long time to arrive but I’d read other reviews saying the same so I did expect that. It’s also a little frustrating that when you want to roll the straps around the bar to add resistance, they aren’t actually held in place so getting them to catch in order to roll around the bar can be irritating. Also one of the straps has come off a couple of times as the bands are essentially hollow rubber tubes held in place by a little wooden ball inserted inside. The repeated pulling due to the exercise has caused the ball to come loose a couple of times but it does fix easily enough.All in all it is good value for money for those of us that can’t make it to the gym and I would recommend to anyone who is interested. It’s versatile as well so can be as easy or challenging as you like, therefore a good place to start if you’re wanting to get in to working out at home. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ At last, something to motivate me! *by I***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 March 2017* Really hoping these resistance bands 'do it' for me! Only had them a couple of days and from the outset I can 'feel the burn', think I have found the right way for me. Only time will tell if I stick with it and continue my exercise regime...... The product I have purchased is just as described and after such a short time of use the only downside I have found is the ankle straps don't hold on very well with the Velcro fastening, maybe I haven't attached them correctly? They keep coming off, loose, undone, so I've stopped using them and found alternative ways to use the bands by using the very good grip handles instead. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase, the door fixing is great, works well with the exercise I have chosen to follow. I wish I had 'found' these bands sooner in my efforts to maintain exercises because it seems to suit my needs far better than attending the gym which I found hard to motivate attendance out of home during the winter! I attend a weekly Pilates class and wanted a band so that I could practise between classes. I took a long time deciding whether to go for a cheeper band as some were half the price but I'm so pleased I didn't. This band is a good width, 15cm. There is no smell to it. The quality is excellent and I can't imagine it ever splitting or developing holes. I was unsure whether to buy the magenta or green band so bought one of each. I find the resistance on the magenta band too strong for me at the moment but I'm keeping it to use as my muscles strengthen. The green band is perfect for me.
