I have been taking care of them by Educating myself reading everything I could find. BTW Pinterest is the best place to find all kinds of articles on them. You need a good quality spray fertilizer that's for air plants. This Brand of spray fertilizer kept coming up over and over again in different articles. That's when I knew it had to be good!! My air plants look great and I know a lot has to be this fertilizer !! The way I to keep them looking good is you will need a empty gallon jug fill it up with water. You need to let the water sit atleast 24 hours or more. That gets the chorline out. That's the best water to use I read. Then I will put them in a bowl, cover completely to where there just floating. Leave them in there for around 2 hours then pour the water off. Then I spray them top and bottoms with the fertilizer really good. Then I let them dry on some paper towels for a hour or more. Then put the air plants back where you keep them. I have mine on little peebles in a top of a old timey butter dish. Make sure you put them in a window but not where there in full sun.
