**Q: can this be used to get sticky label or price tag residue off of things like plastic containers to reuse?**
A: You need to try Goo Gone for removing sticky things from plastic. 
This eraser is best for removing small accidents with glue (like Tombow) in cardmaking and paper crafting.

**Q: I'm trying and failing to use this to remove the stickiness left behind by a sticker on the back of a paperback book. What am I doing wrong?**
A: Probably goo gone is better for what your needs are.  This is used for removing masking fluid and also for adhesives like rubber cement.

**Q: Will this work for rubber cement?**
A: I am thinking that it would.  It's been a long time since i've used rubber cement but if I remember right I could use my finger to remove it. So this should work.

**Q: What size is this?  there is conflicting info above—2.1” square or 5.3”l x 3.5”w x .5”h**
A: It’s a 1” x 1” x 1” x 1” square it’s about an eighth of an inch thick. It works amazing at removing tape residue or glue residue from paper mainly card stock not your every day computer paper
