I love this because I can know what the temp is immediately. -I love that you can see how much water is in it! -It pours very well! -Handle and lid are cool to the touch. -I like the the way it looks, the blue color is nice, and the base isn't crazy huge. Dislikes: -I think it feels really heavy when it's full. Several things make it great. Nearly all stainless steel construction and clear push button controls are two of them. The third thing I like about this kettle is that you select the temperature you want the water to be and when the water gets to that temperature the kettle stops heating. There is also an option for the kettle to "hold", which means that the kettle power will cycle on and off just enough to keep the water at the temperature you selected.
