The XboxOne and SeriesX/Series S seem to have a stop gap adding storage. (12-14TB can be added to these Consoles) If you want to play SeriesX/SeriesS games you'll need a SSD Card (Only 1 and 2 TB) both a bit expensive But, in a sense worth it. Found out X/S only installs on the internal drive or the expansion card. Backward compatible will be run from an external hard drive. 3.5 Tb of games uninstalled due to picking which ones I wanted to upgrade. The USB ports on the console will now recognize external hard drives up to 2TB per slot, and two 2TB hard drives can be used simultaneously giving you 4TB total if you need it. It also works with the new series X unless you want to use ultra HD which requires the game to be on the SSD of the console. If you have Xbox gamepass I would highly recommend it.The only slight flaws are that it’s quite expensive and that it requires its own power supply, but I guess that’s because it offers so much storage.
