And does it come with a brush?** A: Does not come with a brush. Coffee sits in a large space. Easy to clean.I love it!! **Q: How does it perform for course grounds for french press?** A: I use it for French press and it does alright on the most course setting but you still get some fines. **Q: How much can you fit into the whole bean holder? Can it hold a pound of beans before grinding?** A: That is unfortunate - the bean area size.... I have a BUNN grinder this style I purchased at a Starbucks store in Seattle about 1994... It holds over half a pound. It's lasted me 20 years and been one of my most prized possessions!
