Induction heats your pan directly, cutting cooking times compared to traditional gas or ceramic. - 10 TEMPERATURE LEVELS FOR TOTAL CONTROL — From a delicate 60°C simmer through to a fierce 240°C sear, dial in exactly the heat you need. The programmable timer runs up to 180 minutes, so you can set it and step away without watching the pot. - PERFECT FOR WHEREVER YOU NEED EXTRA HOB SPACE — Whether it's a kitchen renovation, a studio flat, a student house, a campervan, or just a busy Christmas dinner, the Quest double induction hotplate plugs straight into any UK mains socket. No installation required. - BUILT-IN SAFETY FOR PEACE OF MIND — Automatic overheat protection, child safety lock, and non-slip feet keep cooking secure. Induction only heats the pan — not the surface — so there's no naked flame and the glass stays safe to touch the moment you lift the pan. - WIPE-CLEAN IN SECONDS — The smooth glass-ceramic surface resists staining and picks up no odours, so a quick wipe with a damp cloth is all it takes. Compatible with all induction-ready cookware (magnetic base, 12–26cm diameter). 1-year Quest guarantee included. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01G7L4ELQ | | Best Sellers Rank | 192,582 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 70 in Hot Plates | | Brand | Quest | | Brand Name | Quest | | Colour | Black | | Controls Type | Touch | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 207 Reviews | | Heating Element | Induction | | Heating elements | 2 | | Included Components | 1 x Double Induction Hob & Hot Plate | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 36D x 60.5W x 6.5H centimetres | | Item Highlight | 10 Temperature Settings 60–240°C | 180 Min Timer | LED Touch Control | Child Lock | Overheat Protection | | Item Type Name | Quest 35840 Digital Double Induction Hob & Hot Plate / 10 Temperature Settings From 60 - 240°C / Touch Control with LED Display / Automatic Overheat Protection / 2800W | | Item Weight | 5 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Benross Group | | Material | Glass | | Model Number | 35840 | | Number of Heating Elements | 2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 35840 | | Power Source | AC/DC | | Product Warranty | 12 month manufacturer. | | Product dimensions | 36D x 60.5W x 6.5H centimetres | | Recommended Uses For Product | Campervan, Caravan, Kitchen Renovation, Student House, Studio Flat | | Special Features | LCD Display, Temperature Control, Timer, Twin Zone Control | | Special feature | LCD Display, Temperature Control , Timer , Twin Zone Control | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Voltage | 240 | | Wattage | 2800 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Quest - **Burner type:** Induction - **Colour:** Black - **Controls type:** Touch - **Heating elements:** 2 - **Material:** Glass - **Product dimensions:** 36D x 60.5W x 6.5H centimetres - **Special feature:** LCD Display, Temperature Control, Timer, Twin Zone Control - **Voltage:** 240 - **Wattage:** 2800 watts ## Images ![Quest Double Induction Hob 2800W | Portable Twin Zone Hot Plate - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/714C-b9vzEL.jpg) ![Quest Double Induction Hob 2800W | Portable Twin Zone Hot Plate - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71G+ZJuEpuL.jpg) ![Quest Double Induction Hob 2800W | Portable Twin Zone Hot Plate - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Z-CernfZL.jpg) ![Quest Double Induction Hob 2800W | Portable Twin Zone Hot Plate - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718+yM4Gk-L.jpg) ![Quest Double Induction Hob 2800W | Portable Twin Zone Hot Plate - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71TfKkewmfL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What are the diameters of the two hobs/hotplate areas?** A: Hi, They are both the same size and the instruction book says the suitable pan diameter is 16-26cm. However, for us old 'uns who think in inches, I measured it at 7" and 7 eighths. I hope this helps. **Q: How does this unit connect to the electricity supply? Via 13A plug or it has to be wired in?** A: Hi, This induction hob just plugs in Via the 13A normal plug. Straight out of the box as you would with other small kitchen appliances such as the kettle or toaster. Hope this helps. **Q: hi my pot is 24 cm, would it fit all of my pot area?** A: The outer ring is 20cm, so no, not an exact fit, but a 24cm pot will sit nicely on the hob. **Q: How do you unlock it when it locks** A: If you mean when it shows Loc - then I just switch it off at the plug. Off then straight on and it clears instantly. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it. *by P***K on 9 July 2026* Love it. I find it very easy to manage with dble induction hob.
