Adjustable from 28 to 48 inches with a friction grip for one-handed height and tilt control, it supports up to 4kg of music. Renowned globally since 1935, it’s the go-to choice for orchestras, schools, and soloists seeking unmatched stability, durability, and ergonomic design. ## Description The "friction tilt" functionality of Manhasset music stand desks allows each player to set their ideal desk angle for maximum readability. Nothing to undo, just move the desk to your perfect position and it will stay put. Manhasset stands are designed to be robust and durable, whether permanently situated in a music venue or taking the world tour by storm. The base bolts together for a strong hold which won't let you down, night after night. The world-famous "magic finger" shaft clutch can be used to set the height of your Manhasset stand in seconds flat! It can be done single handed, so no need to worry about letting go of your precious instrument. This can be a huge advantage if players of different heights need to use the same soloist stand during a performance. Manhasset has never let go of the founding princple that quality is the highest priority. Work continues into research and development of new and unique products to meet the needs of musicians of all ages, abilities and disciplines. As an Employee-Owned business, you can rest assured that each product is made with attention, care and pride to continue the Tradition of Exceptional Quality. ## Features - The number one choice for schools and orchestras worldwide since 1935 - Heavy-gauge all-steel welded base provides excellent stability - Friction grip allows the desk to be raised, lowered , and tilted with one hand - Large but lightweight solid aluminium desk holds 4kg of music - Height adjusts from 28 inches to 48 inches (lip of stand to floor) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B0002FOBJY | | Best Sellers Rank | 22,211 in Musical Instruments & DJ (See Top 100 in Musical Instruments & DJ) 132 in Music Stands | | Body Material | Aluminium | | Colour | Black | | Country Produced In | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (4,538) 4.7 out of 5 stars | | Date First Available | 26 April 2010 | | Guaranteed Software Updates Until | unknown | | Item Model Number | M1406GIOLP | | Item Weight | 3.18 kg | | Material Type | Aluminum | | Product Dimensions | 50.8 x 48.26 x 121.92 cm; 3.17 kg | | Signal Format | analog | | Size | 1-Pack | ## Images ![Manhasset Symphony Stand - Black Pack of one - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71qxN3xEIyL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 March 2026* Best music stand ever. Stable, large. Excellent. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy, unfoldable, lightweight *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 June 2025* Sturdy and easy to assemble (I had the right tools. The bolt to tighten is recessed, so the average spanner may be inadequate). It is quite lightweight, and not foldable. It is easily adjustable (tilt and height). It does the job it's meant to do. I have no other music stands to compare it to. I can't understand the 'made in USA' hype. I'm amazed that no one makes it outside of the USA. It's just a sheet of metal with tubes holding it up and a welded 3-legged stand. Not rocket science, exactly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top Notch Music Stand - Handy for Everyone & a Work of Art *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 September 2018* Once you get one of these stands (and remember NOT to pick it up by the neck or you'll get grease on your hands) you'll probably start to look down at most other music stands. Its useful for sheet music sure, but also if you do things like voice over, reading or podcasting and need notes close by. You can adjust the height smoothly, and easily with one had, its stable, can tilt - plus it looks quite cool. Even if you don't play music...maybe get one and stick a picture on it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Manhasset 4801 M48 Symphony Music Stand AC48S - Glocusent 57 LED Super Bright Music Stand Light, Eye Caring Clip-on Piano Light, 3 Color & 5 Brightness, USB-C Rechargeable, Long Lasting up to 140 Hrs, Perfect for The Piano, Sheet Music - MANHASSET M91 Pair Music Stand-Out Shelf Extenders --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/51327586-manhasset-symphony-stand-black-pack-of-one](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/51327586-manhasset-symphony-stand-black-pack-of-one) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
