I live in Dominican Republic and have wild papaya growing in my yard. These seeds did not germinate. Not one. Word of advice? Do not even think of buying these seeds unless they are willing to put a lot more seeds in a pack. Want to grow papaya? Buy a fruit and plant the seeds yourself. I have done it.
