Is it the real deal of fake?** A: SRAM published a video on YouTube on August 29, 2016 entitled "SRAM Eagle™ Installation" [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wCt9BJRNew ] . At the 2:33 minute mark of the video, the mechanic installs a SRAM XG-1299 Eagle™ cassette. The cassette does NOT have the Eagle™ logo printed on the large cog of the cassette. It appears that some XG-1299 cassettes have the Eagle™ logo printed on the large cog whereas other XG-1299 cassettes do not. The absence of the logo does NOT indicate that the item is counterfeit. **Q: Confused - is this a 10-50 or 10-52 cassette? Description seems to say it's both** A: The item is a 10-52 cassette. It is coded with "B1". The description in the add was not corrected. **Q: In the description it says 10-50t. But the title abd product details it says 10-52t. Which is it?** A: The product I ordered is 10-52 and I did receive a 10-52 caste **Q: It’s original sram ?? And 50T or 52T??** A: Yes, it's OEM SRAM and 52T. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Poor quality, no warranty from SRAM *by V***M on July 4, 2023* After upgrading to X01, had nothing but problems. Chain broke on a ride (first time in my life), then found a tooth broken on the cassette, the pesky 52T cog. The rest of the cassette is machined out of a single piece of steel. The 52t cog is riveted to it and appears to be aluminum. My guess the force of the chain getting on and off the 52T cog is too great because of a jump from the 42t-52t, the material choice or the heat treatment may be inadequate to handle it. Have seen many MTBers having this issue with X01. Just google "X01 cassette broke".SRAM stated that cassette is not covered by their 2-year warranty because it is a wear item. I guess that would exclude the entire groupset. So, no warranty from the manufacturer.In summary would say that X01 is a lot more expensive than XG and a lot less durable.
