They replaced the M36 tunic, displaying many small manufacture and design differences, most notably with the colour of the collar becoming field grey to match the rest of the tunic. These tunics are detailed reproductions of the M40s worn by Troops in the German Heer during WW2. They have been developed directly from an original, and have a much higher wool content than the majority of other reproductions. The 80% wool manufacture gives the tunic a much more authentic feel when worn, making these some of the best repros around. The tunics have the correct 5 buttoned front, and come with the white piped shoulder boards of the infantry as standard.High quality M40 tunics in Field Grey. ## Features - Wool - Dry Clean Only - Fastening: Button - Collar Style: Collar - German - Standard Fit - Long Sleeve - New ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07MH5Y6RB | | ASIN | B07M67LF6M | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Apparel Fabric Stretch | No Stretch | | Apparel Fabric Weight Class | Heavyweight | | Best Sellers Rank | 1,042,752 in Fashion ( See Top 100 in Fashion ) 1,054 in Military Style Clothing | | Bikini top style | TUNIC | | Brand Name | Epic Militaria | | Closure Type | Button | | Collar Style | Collar | | Colour | Grey | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (45) | | Customer reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (45) | | Date First Available | 28 Dec. 2018 | | Department | Men's | | Embellishment Feature | Piping | | Fabric Stretchability | Non-stretchable | | Fabric Type | Wool | | Fit to Size Sentiment | Fits true to size | | Fitting type | Standard Fit | | Garment Size Country | Germany | | Is Customizable? | No | | Item Length | Standard Length | | Item Type Name | Vintage Style Tunic | | Manufacturer | Epic Militaria | | Manufacturer | Epic Militaria | | Manufacturer Part Number | WWL-UF-5007 - 50 | | Material Type | Wool | | Model Number | New | | Neck Style | Collared Neck | | Number Of Pockets | 5 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Pocket Description | Four external pockets and one internal bandage pocket | | Product Care Instructions | Dry Clean Only | | Seasons | All | | Sleeve Type | Long Sleeve | | Style Name | German | | UPC | 715444955815 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Images ![Epic Militaria Replica WW2 German M40 Field Grey Wool Tunic - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51t6LBiqGjL.jpg) ![Epic Militaria Replica WW2 German M40 Field Grey Wool Tunic - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41EOmaI06ZL.jpg) ![Epic Militaria Replica WW2 German M40 Field Grey Wool Tunic - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41XKN8pzIXL.jpg) ![Epic Militaria Replica WW2 German M40 Field Grey Wool Tunic - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Ksw--XzNL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/512353837-epic-militaria-replica-ww2-german-m40-field-grey-wool-tunic](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/512353837-epic-militaria-replica-ww2-german-m40-field-grey-wool-tunic) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
