I used to strain my cold brew coffee with a small French press... this is much simpler and strains out grounds better then the French press. Highly recommend this! Edited to add: after using for the past week, I’ve realized that when using this pitcher to brew the coffee, it’s extremely weak. I imagine because the grounds are unable to come into contact with the beans as easily due to the strainer. My new method is to do the cold brew on a separate pitcher with just beans and water marinating overnight , and I use Purely as a way to strain the beans and store the coffee. Changed rating from 5 stars to 4, just because the coffee comes out weaker then if the beans were freely floating in the water.
