Review: Cross Between Polishing Compound and Polish - This product is a cross between a polishing compound and a polish. Very effective! It has no abrasive capability but provides a deep gloss shine better than most polishes (especially for black or dark cars). It has a long working time when applied properly. It provides NO paint protection so it will need at least one more step of wax/sealant to protect the paint. I use Wolfgang Finishing Glaze followed by Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0. Combined, makes my black Mercedes look like a wet pool of black ink. For best results I recommend a full paint decontamination process before using 3800. Time consuming but you will love the results. You will want to put some type of protection over it to preserve the shine and the work you've put into it.

I don't have a "before" pic, wish I did, just an after, which has no wax used. So I used a rotary on the lowest speed with meguiar"s ultimate polish. To clean up some stuff on my black paint, that sits outside 24/7 here in Florida. The paint looked awesome, until the sun hit it, ouch. Holograms out the rear. I did some research and ended up buying this menzerna super fine finish. There are competitors but the price is double and the amount is double. I only needed for this one car. Same speed on rotary and same red jeweling pad. Boom!! Paint is crystal clear now of those micro abrasions. Worth every penny and was very easy to use. Very long working time. Product is fantastic, thank you.
