It had to be something he can see – obviously – and something that won't rub off easily. This little pen is ideal. As he is also colour blind he cannot see red on black, sometimes even white on black can be difficult, but bright yellow is perfect. I've tested this on my basic little mobile phone – it dries quickly, is clear to see on the black plastic, and so far hasn't rubbed off. It's really easy to use - keeping the top on, shake it vigorously for a few seconds. Remove top and press the tip of the pen firmly on a hard surface - I used a piece of paper on a kitchen worktop just to get it flowing - then apply. The tip is quite fine making writing really clear, but it's also easy to apply twice to make a heavier, bolder mark. Excellent product with all sorts of uses; worth the very modest price. It's a brilliant tool to add details and highlights to paintings and is very versatile as my dad uses it to mark metal in his work.
