It offers 3 settings, and all have the feeling of giving you a good wash (2 gentle,1 vigorous) although I didn’t experience any increase in water pressure.As for the filtration claims – this variety of shower head with the beads inside - they all claim to filter various chemicals & minerals etc, but personally I view these claims with a degree of scepticism. I would really like to see a company stand behind their product and offer up some independent test results to back up their claims. As it stands, Ceramet and Hydrogenated are not terms that were well defined in any literature sent to me, so I don’t really have any idea what it is that’s inside my Aquatiere.But after all is said and done – my fussy husband loves the feel of the water flow of this showerhead. It doesn’t aerate the water into a featherlite mist like some do. You get actual drops of water. We have tried quite a few different ones and this is his favourite. I like that it’s refillable and hence more environmentally friendly. My husband and I both have eczema, and neither of us have noticed a massive improvement.
