**Q: Can i use this as and overdrive button?**
A: No this is a momentary switch it will only activate if held in the up or down position.  You could use any rocker switch that ether stays in the open or closed position.

**Q: Does this stay lit up?? Or does it turn off??**
A: I connected mine the way it was illustrated in the instructions, it definitely changes the polarity going through the switch, but it only lights up when pushing. Like I said going by instructions.
