Review: Simple but Effective - I don't write reviews often but I have to for this. I've struggled to find an effective cardio workout for my home for years. I've got through several bikes and considered many machines. Finally, I remembered back in the early 2000's there was. the infomercials with Tony Little and I decided to check out this machine. I'm glad that I did because this thing rocks. It is not a normal elliptical machine. Instead of there being a crank for your feet (like a bike), your feet simply move forward. and backward. This is great because it provides a lot of variation to your movements and honestly gives a deeper workout than a normal elliptical while being cheaper and easier to use. This is less like running and more like ski walking and at multiple angles, which challenges different parts of your body. And, it comes with the resistance option which can also add intensity to the workout. I'm a big fan of bodyweight workouts (calisthenics) because its simpler, uses your own bodyweight for the resistance, and needs less equipment. This elliptical fits the bill of that and takes up very little space for what you get.
Review: Sturdy, well built, not expensive. - Due to extreme weather both summer and winter now making it too hard to walk outside, we bought this Gazelle Sprinter for those bad weather days. So far, very pleased! Well-made, sturdy and not complicated to use--just good simple exercise. It took two of us 2.5 hours to assemble, and that was only because the pictures in the instructions were not clear to us. But in all, not a lot of parts and only a few screws to attach with the dreaded Allen wrench (included). Highly recommend for simple exercise.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you really get a decent cardio (high heart rate) workout on here if you are not a novice or would I need to get the Supreme which has resistance?**
A: I am 66 years old and have exercised for years and in pretty decent shape. I think you have to work out on this with a real fast cadence and I get my heart rate up to over 130 . I also have a gym quality rower. I have worked out on ellipticals at a gym but feel I get a good workout on this and the Concept 2 rower I have. In the summer I bike. Anyway I’m quite happy with the gazelle. You just have to work out a a fast pace and that’s true with the rower too. Hope this helps

**Q: Foldable?**
A: Yes, the foot rests fold up against the vertical handle bars and the whole unit then folds up to about 10 inches deep.

**Q: when assembled, what are the footprint dimensions?**
A: The dimensions that they list on the product are completely accurate. Product Dimensions: 43 x 28 x 53.8 inches ; 42 pounds 43 is the length and 28 the width once assembled. You'll need a little more space on either end for the feet movement. A foot on each end is reasonable. You could get by with less 6 to 8 inches if need be, depending on your height and step size. 53.8 is the height. Hope that helps.

**Q: Can you adjust the tension on the machine?**
A: As far as I know, you can't adjust the tension on the machine. However, the placement of your hands on the handles can change the tension on your muscles as you use it. If you grip the tops of the handles, you get a longer stride, and as you place your hands lower on the handles it changes the stride and the way you use your arms as well. There is an instruction book that comes with it to explain the different ways to use it. Hope this helps!
