Review: A little short but work well - My sport bike was long overdue for a set of grips. The ones that I bought the bike with had been with me for at least 12,000 miles and God knows how many with the previous owner(s). They were so old and worn that the material had started to break down and get sticky. Grabbing them with your bare hands felt gross, and they left residue on my riding gloves.. My bike requires a 7/8" grip on the left and a 1" grip on the right. I wanted black grips with an aggressive texture because I find the smooth ones are hard to grip when wearing my gloves. I also wanted something inexpensive because I'm still trying to figure out what kind of grips will work best for me and I don't want to spend a pile of money on something that I'll hate. These grips fit all my criteria. An air compressor will make it much easier to remove the old grips and install the new ones. To get the old ones off, I took off the bar ends and jammed an air nozzle under the rubber grip. The air ballooned them up enough to break the adhesion on whatever glue had been used to put them on. They slid right off with a little tugging. I thoroughly cleaned both handlebars and lubed the throttle while everything was apart. The new grips needed the ends cut open because my handlebars extend through and have bar ends screwed on. I cut the ends of these open with a utility knife, which only took a few seconds each. The cut is not perfectly clean but since they will be hidden by the bar-ends, I didn't worry too much. You can't see them at all. To get the new grips on, I sprayed 3M Super 77 aerosol adhesive on the handlebars. Then I pushed the grips on, again using compressed air to get them to balloon up until they had slid into position. I screwed the bar ends back on, wiped away any excess adhesive, and let things dry overnight. I rode the bike the next day and the difference was quite noticeable. The grips have much more traction against my gloves than the worn out old ones, and it was easier to twist the throttle open. Neither grip loosened up even when I rode somewhat aggressively, and I'm satisfied with the adhesion of the 3M Super 77. If this was a track bike I might use something with a higher bond strength, but it it's a street bike and the grips feel more than secure enough for any riding that I'll do. My only complaint is that the grips are about 1/2" too short compared to the old ones. There's a gap where each grip is too short to completely cover the handlebar. It's noticeable but doesn't affect riding, and I can live with it. Next time I buy grips I'll look for slightly longer ones, but right now I couldn't care less. I didn't realize how much the old grips annoyed me until I replaced them. For less than $10 I made a noticeable improvement to my motorcycle, and it was easy to do.
Review: Problem is you get one 7/8 inch and one 1 inch grip that is too big - Great grips

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Problem is you get one 7/8 inch and one 1 inch grip that is too big
*by J***R on July 22, 2026*

Great grips

### ⭐ Poor fitment Quality
*by C***S on January 4, 2026*

One grip was too big and falls off the handlebar. It was not even close to fitting, it took several wraps of double sided tape to make it functional. The other one fit fine.
