Each thread works out to 50L. **Q: Im looking to actually encourage algae growth in my tank, will this help with that?** A: It depends. With few fast growing plants in the tank then Flourish will tend to encourage algae growth, sometimes very quickly. But it can also unbalance bacterial load in filters if over dosed so go carefully. You might also find that black hair algae grows quickly ... not always a good source of food for fish, snails or shrimps if that’s what you want algae for. **Q: Hi. Thanks** A: Depends on how many plants and fish you have, I have a lot of fast growing plants in my 250 litre tank along with slower growers such as anubias, so I add 2ml everyday. Daily is better than dosing 1-2 times per week...Analogy: would you rather be fed 1-2 times per week or daily? As for keeping in the fridge: Flourish contains nitrogen, phosphorus, vitamins and amino acids and can get contaminated by stuff in the air when opened which can cause bacteria, mould, or fungus to grow inside the bottle. Seachem recommends putting it in the fridge 3 months after opening, I put it mine in straight away.
