Review: Gets into hard to reach places! - I've just done some regrouting for my folks, the show they have needed a full regrout. I have a Dewalt multi tool which I planned to use and needed some new blades. Because its a regrout I'd have to extract the old grout first and it goes into the corners and right up to the wall on three sides so needed something that wouldn't take half the wall grout off with it. I purchased this as its the correct fit for my multi tool, it's the shape I needed and its has solid reviews. It's a perfect fit for the Dewaot tool, clips right in. Build quality is excellent. Hardly any flex in the blade. I only had to finish the edges with this, using an alternate blade for most of the straight lines, it made very quick work of the old grout. The shape is super handy, I could run the end of the blade right to the wall edge without going through the shower tray underneath or up and into the wall grout, no issues at all. After using the blade has plenty of life in it still, it cleans up very easily under the tap with a little bit of a rub with a cloth, a quick dry so it doesn't rust and job done. Highly recommended Grout blade! Five Stars.

**Q: What is the cutting depth of this bit**
A: as much as you dip it in... around 50mm

**Q: What is the thickness of the blade as I want to use it for narrow grout removal between bathroom tiles**
A: I used the blade for grout removal and it worked reasonably well. However the blade needed replacing ever 10 mins or so as the grout I was taking out was very solid. The blade it self was 2 mms thick I reckon.

**Q: i was looking at sandpaper and this came up can it be used for sanding or is it something else?**
A: It is really designed for removing stuff like grout between tiles if the gap between allows.I suppose you could "sand" a small area but the unit s quite coarse. You would be better to use a detail sander with choice of grit

**Q: Will this cut in to mortar so i can repoint brick work ?**
A: I used it on grout and it worked very well and did not wear out quickly. I would say it is a little thin at 2mm for mortar. Better with a small hand held battery angle grinder I would think.
