Set up was not easy, a lot of the pre-drilled holes were not aligned correctly, it took us a whole day to get it set up. When we finally did set it up, we thought it was very nice in our bedroom, however, the wood has a very strong chemical smell. We thought maybe it just needed to be aired out. Our dogs, however, hated it. They refused to sleep in it, kept us up for a whole week because they would rather sleep on the couch than on this bed. We tried everything to get them to sleep in it, but after many sleepless nights, realized it's not happening. We do not have the original packaging to return this item, and I'm very upset with this company that they refuse to accept this return without all original boxes and packaging. A waste of $500. Never again. Review: My dogs are living their BEST bunk-bed life - Way better quality than I expected! The cushions are super fluffy and the bumper pads zip off for easy washing — love that. It was ridiculously easy to put together, no tools needed, and it’s very sturdy. My doodles go right up the stairs (I added some cheap grip tape $7 from desertcart ). In the photos, my 11-year-old labradoodle claimed the top bunk while the boxer and dachshund took the bottom — and later they all switched spots because apparently every level is the best level. 😂 ## Features - Made of non-toxic recycled plastic-wood polymer composite material that won't warp, crack or split - Includes removable plush fleece cushions; machine washable for easy clean - 100% non toxic - Easy, no-tools assembly - 1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07FR9YRY3 | | Brand | New Age Pet | | Brand Name | New Age Pet | | Breed Recommendation | Medium | | Breed recommendation | Medium | | Color | Grey | | Cover Material | Fleece | | Customer Reviews | 2.9 out of 5 stars 45 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Medium | | Fill Material | Fleece | | Fill material | Fleece | | Included Components | Dog Bed | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 69.1L x 145W x 91.9Th centimeters | | Item Form | Bunk Bed | | Item Shape | rectangle | | Item Type Name | Dog Bed | | Manufacturer | New Age Pet | | Manufacturer Part Number | EHBB405 | | Material | Plastic Wood | | Material Type | Plastic Wood | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 13.61 kg | | Model Number | EHBB405 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Removable Cover | | Pattern | Solid | | Pet Type | Dog | | Product Benefits | Provides comfortable and safe sleeping spaces for multiple dogs | | Product Care Instructions | Machine Wash | | Product dimensions | 69.1L x 145W x 91.9Th centimeters | | Recommended Uses For Product | Indoor | | Size | Medium | | Special features | Removable Cover | | Target Species | Dog | | UPC | 896819004458 896819001686 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** New Age Pet - **Breed recommendation:** Medium - **Material:** Plastic Wood - **Product dimensions:** 69.1L x 145W x 91.9Th centimeters - **Special features:** Removable Cover ## Images ![New Age Pet ECOFLEX® Dog Bunk Bed with Removable Cushions - Grey - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61G3gW37CqL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Would the top hold a german shepherd** A: I have a 79lb lab that sleeps on the top and an 85lb lab that sleeps on the bottom. It holds them just fine. They love the bed! **Q: Would this be suitable for a covered (but not screened in) porch if I was mindful of removing the cushions during rains?** A: Thank you for the question. While this item was designed for indoor use, there's no reason it couldn't be placed outside in a protected area, you would absolutely need to protect the cushions from rain/moisture as they are not waterproof/resistant. You may experience some fading if it's in direct sunlight, but they should be fine. **Q: How much weight does the top bunk hold?** A: The top bunk bed weight max is 99 lbs, bottom bunk is 175 lbs. **Q: Will it fit a great dane?** A: Have a 70 pound golden doodle and he fits just right. So I doubt a Great Dane ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ A 500 dollar paperweight *by H***A on 15 October 2023* I had been eyeing this bed for many months for my dogs. The cushions are super fluffy and the bumper pads zip off for easy washing — love that. It was ridiculously easy to put together, no tools needed, and it’s very sturdy. My doodles go right up the stairs (I added some cheap grip tape $7 from Amazon ). In the photos, my 11-year-old labradoodle claimed the top bunk while the boxer and dachshund took the bottom — and later they all switched spots because apparently every level is the best level. 😂 ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good design, poor execution *by S***T on 6 February 2024* Even after reading all the bad reviews I went ahead and bought this because I liked the design and wanted my dogs to have a way to look out the window. The ladder pieces were completely unaligned and we had to completely redo the holes on our own. Not ideal for such an expensive purchase. 3 stars only because not much else exists like this and my dogs like it ## Frequently Bought Together - New Age Pet Stylish ECOFLEX Grey Dog Bunk Bed with Removable Cushions. - KSIIA Washable Dog Bed Deluxe Plush Dog Crate Beds Comfy Kennel Pad Anti-Slip Pet Sleeping Mat for Large, Jumbo, Medium, Small Dogs Breeds, 29" x 21", Brown - Amazon Basics Durable,Foldable Metal Wire Dog Crate with Tray, Double Door, Divider, 22 x 13 x 16 in, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/508044244-new-age-pet-ecoflex-dog-bunk-bed-with-removable-cushions](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/508044244-new-age-pet-ecoflex-dog-bunk-bed-with-removable-cushions) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
