I'm gonna use it for calligraphy and with either higgins eternal ink or sumi ink.** A: This is one of my favorite papers to use for pointed pen calligraphy. Sumi ink is my go-to black, other colors& brands like Walnut, Iron gal, many inks work lovely with this paper. Plus you can see your guide sheet underneath if you are using it for practice. The paper is very thin, but there is no bleed through. This paper is a gem. I am a calligrapher and I really like the weight of the paper, but do find that the side facing you when opening the Pad is the side that does not bleed....the back side does bleed a little.
