## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where can I get 6H leads?**
A: I found them on the search bar

**Q: This might sound silly, but is the lead made of graphite that I can brush onto paper to tone it once I've sharpened the lead?**
A: I have got two different sizes of lead 2b &4b
Have rubbed both with a blender stick & my finger
the 4b blends the lines blend out the 2b blends but still leaves a line l prefer the 4b it is a lot softer, the sharpener works great to make very fine lines

**Q: I need a fairly dark 2mm lead that keeps its point ok. would 2b or 4b staedtler leads work better for this?**
A: The softer the lead, the darker the mark ie 4B is darker than B . . . however the payoff is SOFTNESS. Your tip will not hold its point as well.
It;s why HB has become the standard for so many pencils as it offers the best compromise between mark making and point keeping.

You may find a B is subtle enough to help.
The HB Staedtler leads are really smooth. They glide.

**Q: What are the dimensions of this item?**
A: Surprisingly enough, the diameter is 2mm. The length is 13cm and, to avoid further questions, they are for Staedtler clutch pencils.
