We decided upon getting last year's model Samsung, SIM-Free, using his existing PAYG SIM. After browsing various marketplaces and online stores, we settled upon the LG G6. After a false start (the first one delivered came with a Euro fast charger), we received the phone. Son is delighted, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the manufacturing quality. It feels quite light, yet solid. We purchased a wallet case to go with it, as there are some reports of the glass back scratching. The screen is good, and whilst it does wrap around the edges has a minimum border. The touchscreen is responsive, and the OS is quite snappy. We upgraded to Oreo with no issues. The rear camera quality is excellent as far as we can tell, and the front facing camera adequate. The extras, like fingerprint sensor, are nice-to-haves for a phone that cost us £329. ### ⭐⭐ your text on this phone was very misleading *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 20 June 2019* this phone was not suitable for the u.k. i found it very hard to find an adapter for the charger to fit u.k. wall sockets and then had to take it to the carphone warehouse to get it down loaded for it to work in the u.k. which cost me more money so i am not happy . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Excellent Android from LG *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 November 2019* This is a remarkable Android phone for the price, given it was a flagship LG model at launch. The camera is excellent; IP67 seals make it robust, and the size makes it easy to use one-handed. The Dolby Vision is impressive but is a bit of a gimmick; try finding things to watch that use it... It is almost impossible.
