I consider myself a skin care junkie! I am 60 years young and my daughter works for a plastic surgeon. No one can believe I've not had botox or fillers. A good skin care regimen is something I've worked on through the years and this little gem is part of it. I use just a pea size amount and spread it evenly over my face at night. No need to use any moisturizer prior to or after application. In the morning your skin is just more even toned, clear and radiant. Make sure to use plenty of sunscreen during the day and your skin will thank you. The price point is fantastic for these results.

This retinol is great. I never get dry or irritated from it. I use it every other night with Some by Mi retinol serum. Leaves my face nourished. The retinol has an earthy smell which I love. Reminds me of a spa every time I use it. The only bad thing is the bottle seems kinda small. But it seems to be lasting a long time. You only need a small pump. I will be repurchasing.

Cream is super nice!

I began using retinol in my skincare routine about 8 months ago and made the mistake of starting with a product that had a strong concentration that inflamed my face, so I stopped using it. This 0.1% retinol youth serum is a much smarter way to ease into retinol more gently until my skin is more capable of handling stronger products.This is a relatively thin, milky colored serum with a mucus like consistency. It doesn't take much to get full coverage, but it does take a little while to fully absorb well enough to be non-tacky, so I prefer using it at night because I'm always in a hurry in the mornings.This serum is gentle on my sensitive skin and hasn't caused any irritation or redness. Once it absorbs, my skin feels soft and well hydrated rather than dried out like the stronger serum I previously tried did. This serum contains niacinamide along with shea and aloe, plus bakuchiol and peptides, so that's probably why it leaves my skin more moisturized than my previous serum did.I've been using it twice a week but will be able to move up to using it three times a week soon and will update my review if I notice any irritation develop after that. I am very pleased with it so far, and the ingredients in the product are outstanding, so I do recommend it for anyone just starting to use retinol in their skincare routine.

Liking it so far, transitioning from Skinceutials Retinol 0.5 which really affected my skin texture in not a good way. Skin is feeling super supple and clear and already much better. Recommend it so far, no purging or anything!

Skin brightening, decreased fine lines

I'm a fan of many Mizon products but not this retinol. I wanted to love this due to the price being so much lower than what I was using. Unfortunately, it has a ton of silicone and I hate silicone in face products. When people here all say they like the soft, smooth texture of their skin when using this, it's the silicone. And if you like that, go for it. Personally, I can't stand all the pilling. That's my biggest issue. But also I doubt anything on out on top of it will absorb well. I additionally have my doubts that the retinol's strength matches the amount on the label. I figure when I use up this bottle and go back to my old brand, if my skin peels like crazy like I hadn't been using anything for a while, then I'll know. I'll be super happy to be wrong.
