Our Basic Launch is our Launch WITHOUT THE DIPPER. This streamlined lunchbox is for you if either you don't pack wet, messy foods or if you need a spare lunchbox so you don't have to wash dishes every day. They’re perfectly compatible with all our accessories including Square Dippers, Pods, and bags too! Our largest lunchbox, Launch is designed for hearty serving sizes and bigger appetites. If you've started out on Rover and have found that your child needs a little more to get through the day, Launch is a perfect transition to a more filling lunch. Plus, Launch is compatible with our Satellite Dish, a microwave safe container for hot foods. Not 100% water tight, may leak with wetter foods.

I dont have a problem this item not being able to be microwaved, as i prefer things that can be eaten cold or room temp. Keep in mind this has no seals, so wet food could leak. This can be easily solved by using the complimentary accesories (little tuppers with silicon lids). Its a bit expensive, but seems to be made to last. Love it that is full metal, so, very hard to have broken pieces (compared to bentgo, which has plastic lid and clasps)

Love the lunch box, easy to clean, stainless steel, wish the latch was a little easier but probably there for more of a leak proof method. My daughter has had this lunchbox send the beginning of the year. She takes her lunch to school with her every single day. She is in kindergarten. It has not broken. It keeps her food cold. It’s definitely worth the money. The weight of it is a little heavy for a kindergarten, but it’s not really the lunchbox of heavy between the lunchbox the food and ice pack. It’s definitely built to last she’ll be using it next year. I don’t foresee it breaking. The lunchbox itself is not leak proof but the containers that come inside with the silicone lids are leak proof
