Personally I haven’t wanted to leave the stand out in the rain and have chosen to pack it away each night. I’m sure it would withstand some weathering but I have opted to keep it dry. Really easy to assemble, 2 minutes tops, the frame comes in 5 pieces and 4 screwsa and is very sturdy. The hammock itself is cotton and very comfortable. I have the double version and you can get 2 adults in it but i will say its not too comfortable. It takes the weight fine, my husband is 14 stone and i'm 10. Love the bag that comes with it so you can easily pack it away making it ideal to take with you camping but only if you have a car! It is quite heavy. Now the weather is better i tend to leave the frame up and just take off the hammock at the end of the day.
