It fits in the charging holder, but does not charge. The two layers combined are just too thick between the iPad and pencil. Just slightly pop that edge of the iPad out of the case and connect the pencil. It's easier to uncover the iPad edge than to keep taking the sleeve off. Other cases may have more of a problem, so choose your accessories wisely!! But another con with pairing this sleeve with this case is that the pencil + sleeve is too thick to place in the back pencil storage area.
